Preferential Target
When a demon is a Preferential Target, applicable effects will automatically target that demon instead of their allies.
Mechanics[edit]
Preferential Targeting will apply both to skills that deal damage, and to skills that do not.
Single-Target preference[edit]
Preferential Targeting for single-target skills includes the following:
- Skills that target a single enemy.
- Skills that target a single enemy with the highest or lowest of a given stat.
If the Preferential Target effect for Single-Target activates for multiple demons at once, then the leftmost demon will take priority.
Random-Target preference[edit]
If the Preferential Target effect for Random-Targets activates for multiple demons at once, then each demon will take 1 hit of the incoming attacks.
Activation Exclusions[edit]
Preferential Targeting will not activate in the following scenarios:
- When a
Charmed enemy activates a skill other than a Chain Effect. - When an enemy activates a skill that targets another demon in their own party.
- When an enemy uses the Standard Attack (unles the standard attack has been changed).
