Attribute Affinity Reinforcement

Attribute Affinity Reinforcement is a special status effect that prevents the user's affinities (resistances) from being downgraded by attribute affinity down.

Mechanics[edit]

Attribute Affinity Reinforcement can be stacked up to 3 times.

Reinforcement cannot be removed by skills that would remove status ailments, such as Prayer.

  • Reinforcement also cannot be prevented by skills that would prevent ailments, such as Barrier.

Reinforcement cannot be removed by skills that would remove good status effects, such as Silent Prayer.

Reinforcement does not work in Democalypse.

Interaction with attribute affinity down[edit]

Attribute Affinity Reinforcement is attribute affinity down's opposite. For each stack of Reinforcement, 1 stack of attribute affinity down for each element will be cancelled.

  • For example: If an enemy has 2 stacks of Force affinity down and 1 stack of Light affinity down, and then 1 stack of Reinforcement is applied, then the enemy will have 1 stack of Force affinity down and 0 stacks of Light affinity down.

If an enemy decreases multiple attributes at once, then all of those attribute downs will be have 1 stack cancelled by 1 stack of Reinforcement.

  • For example: Samildanach decreases Force and Light affinities by 1 tier each at the same time. Both are cancelled by 1 stack of Reinforcement.

Duration Ticks[edit]

The turn duration for this effect will tick down at the start of the affected team's turn.

  • For example: If your team sets up Attribute Affinity Reinforcement on themselves, then it will stay active during the enemy turn, and then tick down at the start of your next turn.
