Drain Teams
Drain and Repel in modern teams[edit]
Anti-Pierce remains an encounter-specific defensive tool. It protects the covered affinities while the supporting demon is alive; it is not blanket immunity to every current attack.
When it fits[edit]
Inspect Almighty/Special/fractional damage, affinity reduction, the support demon’s survival, and whether the enemy can repeatedly act or revive. A four-slot team must also produce enough damage to finish the match. In PvE, use the relevant encounter guide: the Floor 46 Light anti-Pierce plan is a specific example.
Status of the old guide[edit]
The old all-Drain-Phys composition is retained as historical advice. Choose it for a demonstrated matchup, not as a universal counter to the current snapshot.
