Naamah/Lore
Official Profile[edit]
One of the four demonesses appearing in the Zohar, a text of Jewish mysticism. Her name means “joy” in Hebrew. Said to be the most sensual and seductive of the four, she couples with human men in their dreams, birthing countless evil spirits from their desire. Her beauty beguiles even angels; with the angel Shamron, she is said to have born Asmodeus, King of Demons. She is believed to have originally been a human woman—Naamah, sister of Tubal-cain and descendant of Cain in the Old Testament—who was later reinterpreted as a demoness.
