En no Ozuno/Lore

Also known as En no Gyouza and En no Ubasoku. He was a spellcaster who is said to have lived from the Asuka Period (593-710 CE) through the Nara Period. (710-794 CE) He is heralded as the founder of Shugendou, and was posthumously granted the name Shinpen-Daibosatsu by imperial decree.
As a result of the training he underwent, En no Ozuno achieved superhuman abilities, such as the ability to leap over Mt. Katsuragi. He even learned the sorcery of Mahamayuri. This sorcery allowed him to command Kishin, after which he took Zenki and Goki as disciples. En no Ozuna is also said to have used a spell to bind Hitokoto-Nushi.
