Abdiel/Lore

Official Profile[edit]

Abdiel is a Seraph who is deeply loyal to God. The name “Abdiel” carries the meaning “slave to God,” and is said to have been derived from the Arabic word for “slave.” Abdiel is the only angel under Lucifer’s command who refused to take part in his rebellion and returned to God. It is said that God praised this act of resistance against temptation. Afterward, Abdiel would stand on the front lines as God’s angels did battle with Lucifer’s forces.
